Welcome to Lookout Danes! We are located on Lookout Mountain in Northeast Alabama. We have been breeding and raising Great Danes since 2004. Here at Lookout Danes we breed Fawn and Brindle Great Danes for health, temperament, conformation, color purity and size according to the AKC breeding standards. We believe these "Gentle Giants" are perhaps God's most perfect creation. Once you open your homes and hearts to a Great Dane, you will always have to have one. Our Danes are our family and are loved and respected as such, as well as all of the puppies that are born and raised in our home.
We take great pride in breeding the Great Dane for the soul purpose to help improve and better the breed. Years of unethical breedings and breedings for "unique colors" have damaged the quality of the bloodlines. Our main goal when breeding is to produce quality not quantity, color pure and free of any genetic diseases, healthy and happy Great Dane puppies with impressive Championship bloodlines. Lookout Danes is a family breeding team run by Mother and Daughters.
